When one crashes...you got to replace it.

This is a Cap 580 I have been working on for a couple months off and
on. Great Planes model, ordered the pitts muffler yesterday, hope to
fly two weekends from now. I can't wait...

Yes, you see the Pulse XT parts...

Tree vs. RC plane...Tree wins. Joe took it well. Poor Christmas
plane. And no I didn't crash his plane, he did.

New Bird

This is my *new* used Pete and Poke. It is a really cool old bird.
Test flights this evening.

Greens have been hung.

No not collard or turnip greens. Corinth Baptist Church has a
ceremony each year where they hang "greens" to decorate for the
Christmas season.

I still find it hard to believe that it is Christmas.

Happy HO HO.

Butt Out!

Finally, I have been looking for a solution to this problem for
years. There really is a tool for ever job, and apparently it isn't a
hammer in this case.

Backyard Christmas Tree

I was dreading this honey do, but it sure turned out nice. I think I
will leave the lights on all year though. It was an itchy job.

Magic Seat

There is nothing better than seat 14a or 14f on the Continential
flights between RDU and EWR. All this leg room AND the seat
reclines. Yippie!

Dem bones dem bones

Took the kids to the MET in NYC this weekend. They loved the dinosaurs. They only lasted about an hour or so, but it was well worth it. We also saw a show in the planetarium. It was awesome. Jack had a great 4th birthday.

Model trains, lots of model trains

Needed parts for my big stik, so we packed up the kids and took off
for the Antique Barn and Hobby Shop in Wilson, NC. Got my parts and
before we left, we went upstairs to see the model trains. There must
be 1000+ sqft of track and trains.

Backyard buzzing

My brother in law and I tried out a new flying area at his farm. The
planes got a bit dusty, but the wind and sun were perfect for flying
our .40 powered RC planes.

It LIVES!!!

After much glue, a trip or two to the Antique Barn and Hobby Shop, the
big stik is ready for a test flight in the AM.

Great effort

Just a little forethought would have prevented this easy but beautiful
graffiti.

Recovery under way

After some review, this might be salvagable... More as rebuild
progresses.

Does this guy have a ticket?

So on train from EWR to NY Penn Station, there was a roach riding the
rails with us. And you know there is never just one... I am itching
all over.

Outside Columbia University

The face of evil is coming.

On the bus

Police action in Ossining

We were pulling up to the movie gallery to rent Hot Fuzz (cop comedy)
when we came across a very real traffic stop.

Love these tiny feet...

I can't wait to see where they will take him. I pray they will be
lighted by the word of God.

Outside Grand Central Station

Thousands of people shuffle by, wonder how many appreciate the view...

Random storage

...and you thought your closet was a mess.

I always heard the rats were bigger in NY

Elevator ride with Chevy Chase

So while @ 30 Rock today, I wound up on a car with Chevy Chase. It
was cool. I love my job.

FIRE GOOD

We had some fun tonight burning stumps at Aidan's house. There is
nothing like the smell of fuel oil in the evening...

Bryant Park on a Wednesday

Working from NYC

So I am now working in New York. This is the view from the office.

There is nothing like NY!
